Chasing Goals 

After losing to the Sexton Big Reds, the Okemos record goes to 2-3. But, it doesn't get any better after that even though the chiefs did lose. They have learned from their mistakes know as a group of young man what they must have to do from here on order to go to playoffs. As  the chiefs now say to their self as a team if we cant win the conference title anymore we won't go after that as one of our goals but, we will not quit and just give up we will fight out these last 4 games and win have a ticket for the playoffs make run for it see what happens from their. 



However, every team needs 6 wins to get a spot into playoffs and also if lucky a team can get the wild card with 5 wins but that is something my team doesn't look forward in settling for so now we as a group will have to beat the last 3 games on the schedule from already beating Jacksonville Vikings at their homecoming 33-7 now the chiefs will have to beat the Holt Rams at Holt if they want to have any shot into getting a spot into the playoffs. 

Now the focus becomes very important to the chieftains for the last 3 games they will have because if they lose one game however, they will be short of going to playoffs but still could be some possible way of getting the wild card going to playoffs. So now its time for great preparation, focus, and attitude.  

 Myself personal as a player I think my team will get the job done and shock the world show everybody that we may lost some games but when it comes time to hand out jobs the Okemos football team goes out to business earns what they have fought for. Also not only that we have been through the roughest of times know what it feels like to be down also up so now its time to finish this thing beat the Rams.

 How to overcome adversity when playing football.

Is to always know things may not go the way as planned but, don't give up break down keep on going get something out of the downfall push through it. 

As I learn players seem to quit or give up once they are hurt or not starting anymore at the position they were before. But don't quit or give up because"pain may last for a minute to a hour or even a year but eventually something else will come and take its place and set aside but, if i choose to quit however it will last forever".

So push through the struggles keep working hard always give 120% at anything you may do use the pain to drive you from with thin and better yourself as a player always know you may have god given talent but know when talent is working hard enough it can be beat so always give that 120% every time you step on the football filed.

 As one team the players signed up to win or lose even though every team wants to win the game is not played out like that so it will be the team who gives it they're all doesn't every give up keep on fighting until the clock hits zero to always think of all the hard work players put in to prepare for a game know down deep inside to give it you're all.

Burning fat and getting in shape

Losing fat and losing weight seems impossible right? But, no it is easy all anyone has to do is just exercise eat good and keep on working out and have good habits of not going back to old habits.

However, a lot of people tried losing weight and getting in shape which worked for most people but for people that didn't make it is because the task of getting in shape and losing weight isn't so easy as it sounds it takes hard work and dedication. Once you start to lose weight and feel stressed out or think it takes to long keep on working at it and don't give up on yourself just yet! Push through the pain of being fat and being out of shape and bring the body to good health so you can feel great about yourself instead of being embarrassed in the over weight human body.

Some key simple steps to get back in shape but, not only that lose weight as well. Is you should start off with a routine that you can get use to keep with it and have some good eating habits.

Another big thing that can help a lot is to not eat junk food even enough it taste good and makes everyone's stomach feel good it brings fat and also makes you out of shape. But, to lose weight quick is to jog or walk a lot which doesn't seem like it will make anyone lose weight fast but it helps out great amount cuts your body into a great shape that you will love.

Once you master your eating habits and keep on working out to stay in shape don't quit so easily because as quick as your body stops doing the good habits of keeping in shape just for a few days it can get back to the old fat person so when you every feel lazy and don't feel like working anymore.  After getting the body you wanted always remember how long it took. So go get that great transformation to your body keep on working to keep the fat away and staying fit.

     To be faster would be great

For any runner out their before running top speed everybody should always do a warm up lap to get your body warmed up and do some dynamic stretching do little sprinting before the real race which will help get your body ready to preform at a high speed.

The best way by getting faster  is by number one having 
 proper running technique. Learning how to run with good form is a big step to gaining speed. By doing this you should drive your arms socket to pocket when running also have a strong knee drive. This allows  you to run straight and narrow without losing speed by running all weird throwing your body around. 

Another step to help get anyone faster is by having a continuous stride turnover with having the same steps when you run not chaining it up getting into a habit of doing the same thing over again until it becomes natural. Step two running on your toes and not your heel because it could cause the form of running to lean you back, but running on the ball of your feel and moving your arms socket to pocket helps you move faster by driving legs and arms at a fast motion. 

Studies say if any athletic is not fast or is slow and big it is possible to still be fast if you learn how to get the form of running it is possible for anybody to get faster because the form comes in handy with building up your speed. Also by doing this drive your knees up while putting this all together with running and helps a lot increase how fast you can run.

People wondering why is Usain Bolt so fast because his form is so great when he runs and not only that he can get his feet off the ground quicker than anybody in the world. Which is the key stay on the ball of your feet have fast take off
focus forward instead of looking at the ground or the sky just look straight ahead. Having a great arm drive and knee drive and just practice relaxing the mind and body because running stuff is hard and wont let anyone reach their true speed so running relaxed is the best then putting this all together helps anyone run faster.

Upsetting Bracket,

    Making a bracket for me this year I thought was a little rough, because there were so many good teams that if they had a good game at any given moment the ball game can be changed. Which likely happened this year with anyone that made a bracket?

Starting off with the upsetting Ohio State Buckeyes then following them was Duke no later than that. After that happened my bracket went downhill from there and it was like a 50, 50 shot at me getting the right pick next because anything could go on in this crazy tournament and happen.

Wonder how everyone did in the bracket this year? Question I have for bloggers that know sports pretty well how do you determine the numbers in the team and see who will win what game with thin picking them to make it to the next round?

Also I think the team that will when the tournament hands down is the Florida Gators with the record of 36-2 but has the skills discipline dedication and the going drive to keep on going to win all the way. Because they basically play you man to man and have great defense and could trap you half court if they wanted to and have 8 great seniors that can play college basketball going to the next level and seem to have the right trick to beat every team and be on top when the game is over. Not only that they are 93.8 % most likely to win the tournament.

Hello bloggers,  

If you can tell or not I am so hyped up! This year for track and I am planning to break the school record for hurdles which is 14.5 set by Devin Rucker which is very fast but I plan on cutting down my time from 15.5 to Devin's time and breaking his record.

Which I know won’t be easy to beat, but I believe if I put my mind to it I can achieve anything. So my strategy to doing that is to get lower going over the hurdle and also moving quickly as I can throughout the hurdles. Most especially to focus up and take every race serious and also track practice so I can get faster time and also break the school record.

As I wonder how all the best hurdlers move so fast through the race is not by showing up out the blue knowing there the best but hard work and practice and taking everything they got  putting it all together down in that one race.

Another goal of mine is breaking the long jump record as well which is set at a long distance at 22.5, but I’m not sure what the kids name that set the record but I think as well I can beat that record as well and set it high were it can’t be broken. If I can get my form right and feet together and focus up and jump on the long jump board without scratching and getting the record.

So the challenge begins in track practice also in meets. Big part about it is eating the right food not junk food because that plays a big role part in how you preform. Also drink as much water as you can so you do not cramp up or be dehydrated plus 8 oz. of water every 2 hours is great and will help a lot in how you run.

Preaping for the  ACT&MME,


So now it comes down to me to study hard, practice all the test and quizes out there until I get every answer right in every subject I every learned throughout my life.


Studying for things I have learned throughout the pass years is hard to go back  through and teach myself about. So I try to do online quizes on quizlet which test how well I know a subject I have study for online which is a very great helpful way to prepare for the ACT and MME.

Another way I learn more information about the ACT and MME is by taking  classes every early relase day in the Kiva from 12:45 till 1:45 learning different ways to prepare for the science, math, english and history on the ACT while having a helpful handout sheet that gives you a guideline on what will be on the test.

The helpfulest thing I think that  will help me do great on the ACT reading and writing part is by listening to what my english teacher says and what to expect and be ready for so when it comes around to it I am fully ready.
